Sasha Banks revealed what she experienced during the time she was shooting for the new Star War series – The Mandalorian.

According to the Superstar, this was an entirely different milestone for her. She was excited for the role from the very first day since it’s one of the biggest franchises in the world. In fact, she never envisioned herself entering the entertainment industry by being a part of this renowned franchise.

“It’s a huge deal. I still cannot get over it. It still does not feel real to me. The more interviews I do, the more I feel like ‘Oh, my God, holy–‘ I’m telling you right now, it still does not feel real to me. It’s frickin ‘Star Wars!’ One of the biggest franchises in the whole world, one of the biggest universes you can ever be a part of.”

Sasha Banks compared the wrestling ring to the Star Wars backstage experience. The section of the audience who know both these universes will agree.

Just like the way wrestling has captured the audience’s attention for decades, the Star Wars franchise has never failed to impress its audience.

“It’s like the first time ever seeing anything just so magical. I would hate to ruin like how it looked backstage, but you felt like you were in a different galaxy in a different world. It was so almost easy to play a Mandalorian because I was legit in the universe.”

‘The Boss’ spills the beans on how she managed the role

Finally, ‘The Boss’ revealed why she was selected for the role. A lot of it is owed to the way she walks and talks in the squared circle. If it wasn’t for WWE, she may not have landed the role in the first place.

“Any questions I had, because I was so incredibly shy and nervous., they answered. But [Jon] reminded me ‘Uh, you do WWE every single week and you do that live. You are amazing. There’s a reason why I wanted you to be a part of the show.’ So that made me feel like home and I totally gained a whole new family and I’m just so thankful.”
