WATCH: Released WWE Superstar Deadlifts Insane Weight in Subtle Message to Company

Earlier this month, WWE released several WWE superstars. Karrion Kross was one of them. Even though Kross was transferred to the main roster earlier this year, WWE showed the exit door to the former NXT superstar along with Scarlett Bordeaux recently.

Kross was definitely not happy with WWE’s actions and he might have a message for his former employers. Recently, Karrion Kross posted a video of him performing a deadlift of 500kg. Well, this is really an incredible achievement. But the former WWE superstar does not want to stop at this as he looks to make it 600kg next time.

Kross certainly looks to prepare himself well for his future endeavors. He would definitely want to make WWE realize their mistake. He even might follow in the footsteps of Andrade El Idolo and Adam Cole and join AEW in the future. But for now, Kross will have to complete the non-compete clause with WWE before he makes his return in the squared circle.

Did WWE make a mistake by releasing Karrion Kross?

It was no less than a shock when Karrion Kross got released. It was even more shocking because of the timing of the release. Just as Kross looked to become a mainstay of Raw, WWE released him. Kross made his NXT debut by attacking Tommaso Ciampa. Later on, he proved his dominance in his in-ring debut on NXT by defeating Leon Ruff in a one-sided match.

Soon after, Kross captured the NXT Championship after getting the better of Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver: XXX. But unfortunately for Kross, he had to relinquish the title because of an injury. However, after returning from the injury, Kross won the NXT Championship for a second time after defeating Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Kross was looking like the next big thing in WWE. The WWE Universe expected him to shift to the main roster soon after proving his dominance in such a short time on NXT. And it happened soon for the former NXT Champion.

After losing the NXT Championship to Samoa Joe, Kross was transferred to WWE Raw, and he got repackaged with new attire, wearing a gladiator helmet and suspenders.

However, the move went wrong as it received backfire from the fans. Even WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley and former WWE superstar Booker T criticized WWE for this attire change of Kross. But, WWE annoyed the fans even more by releasing Karrion Kross on 4th November 2021. Will they regret letting him go?
