Keith Lee Becomes First Man to Defeat Karrion Kross Clean as a Whistle on WWE Raw

Keith Lee won his first match since he made his comeback last month, and this victory tastes so good to him because he won none other than the NXT Champion Karrion Kross.
Karrion Kross vs Keith Lee was a rematch between these two wrestlers from last week’s Raw where Kross dominated the fight and defeated Lee.

Before the match started, while Kross was making his entrance, the WWE Universe gets a pre-recorded message where Kross is holding an hourglass backstage. He says Keith Lee’s time is up and “he too will fall and pray”.

The last time when these two wrestlers met, Kross dominated Lee, and it looked like Lee should not be even in the ring right now.
This time, Lee seemed much more confident and clean with his moves, coming out with a counter every time Kross dished an attack, but on the other, Kross was showing his champion’s instincts whenever stuck in the match.
Kross and Lee stared at each other for some time, then the NXT champion charges down and they locked up, tangling into the corner and back out.
A few minutes into the match, Lee charged down and Kross dumped him over the top rope, but he landed on his feet at the apron. Lee then showcased his athleticism when he launched himself on Kross and delivered a crossbody.

Kross then dominated the match with his ability to work around in the ring. His strength shone when he delivered an overhead suplex into the steel ring steps, leaving him helpless while the referee continued counting.

Keith Lee finally gets his well-deserved win
Towards the ending of the match, the opponents started to dish out more offensive moves with back-to-back attacks on each other. Lee attempted a Spirit Bomb but Kross blocked it.
In retaliation, Kross attempted a Doomsday Saito suplex which Lee blocked as the crowd got behind Lee. Kross then put Lee under the Kross Jacket submission and Lee started to fade.

Lee then hulked back up, as the crowd cheered for him. He then caught Kross in the Spirit Bomb in the middle of the ring for the pin to win.

Even WWE legend Mick Foley appreciated his win against Kross.
