The most dangerous stop before WrestleMania is finally underway. However, there have been some significant changes in one of the most important title matches on the card. The ‘Limitless’ Keith Lee will not take part in the US Championship match as scheduled earlier.
WWE revealed that Keith Lee would not be competing in the United States Championship Triple Threat Match an hour before the Elimination Chamber kick-off on social media. To compensate for that, the company announced a Fatal 4-Way between Mustafa Ali, John Morrison, Ricochet, and Elias, with the winner getting added to the Triple Threat with Bobby Lashley and Riddle.
All four men squared off on the Kick-off show for their shot at the United States Championship. Unsurprisingly, John Morrison defied the odds and won the opportunity to challenge for the US Title. Although he didn’t get a crack at the WWE Championship inside the Chamber, he’d love to hold the US Championship.
WWE may have announced Keith Lee suffered an injury at the hands of Bobby Lashley, but that’s just for the storyline. Rumors suggest Lee is dealing with a legitimate injury. In addition, we believe it to be the same injury that kept him out of action even at the Royal Rumble.
The ‘Monday Night Delight’ is a former Intercontinental Champion and knows what it takes to clinch titles in the WWE. Things are evenly distributed for Morrison, Zayn, and Lashley, but Morrison has the upper hand. Why? Well, that’s because he’s an opportunist.
Riddle can get pumped up and commit mistakes. Lashley can get into a rage and forget his actions. Morrison is the only one who will wrestle with his ‘mind.’
Plus, Lashley can lose the title without being pinned! So, Morrison stands a chance. Will he win it? It’s a matter of waiting and watching!
