Kenny Omega has always been one of the top stars in AEW. Recently, the current AEW Champion took on Bryan Danielson during his AEW in-ring debut at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

This match grabbed all the attention of the fans as it featured two of the best fighters out there. And while the match was exciting to watch, unfortunately for the fans, the match ended in a time-limit draw.

Recently Omega appeared for an interview where he talked about many things including the WWE. Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Omega took a dig at WWE as he claimed that the WWE is becoming desperate after watching AEW’s rise.

He said (h/t: High Rambles),” At the start, there was an enormous gap between WWE and AEW. (AEW) was just some fledgling promotion, after all. But have you realized how the tables have turned? WWE is desperate. They keep bringing back legends every other week.”

Later in the interview, Omega also claimed that he feels many more WWE wrestlers would want to match the switch to AEW in the future.

“I feel that about 90% of the wrestlers in WWE would want to jump over to AEW,” Omega added.

Recently, AEW even got the better of WWE. Something that is praise-worthy. A few weeks back, WWE failed short of AEW’s rating in the 18-49 demo. This certainly announced AEW’s legit challenge to WWE.
