He said (h/t: High Rambles),” At the start, there was an enormous gap between WWE and AEW. (AEW) was just some fledgling promotion, after all. But have you realized how the tables have turned? WWE is desperate. They keep bringing back legends every other week.”

Who is ahead? – WWE or AEW

AEW has proved to be a genuine threat to WWE in recent times. Tony Khan’s AEW has attracted major stars like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson. Previously also, we have seen many WWE Superstars make the switch from WWE to AEW.

Recently, AEW even got the better of WWE. Something that is praise-worthy. A few weeks back, WWE failed short of AEW’s rating in the 18-49 demo. This certainly announced AEW’s legit challenge to WWE.

AEW’s growing popularity has been a worry for WWE, but it will surely excite the fans as the WWE and Vince McMahon surely won’t back down.
