Kevin Owens and Roman fought a very intense battle. KO had mentioned on the go-home SmackDown before TLC that he would win the Universal Championship from Roman or “die trying.” Well, we can definitely say that Kevin Owens put on a hell of a performance. He showed the world why he’s called the ‘Prizefighter.’

Owens came close to retrieving the Universal Championship, but Jey Uso, despite all the beating from KO, managed to stop a few times. KO had the title in his grasp, but Roman Reigns pulled off his favorite move again – the low-blow. Reigns won the match and KO was left disappointed.

The ‘Prizefighter‘ took to Twitter after his brutal TLC match to issue a simple statement – Thank you! But the ‘Tribal Chief’ wasn’t going let KO get away without a burn.

What’s next for the ‘Tribal Chief?’

As we officially enter Royal Rumble season, one wonders what’s next for Roman Reigns? As of what we know, WWE has announced a Steel Cage Match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens for this week’s episode of SmackDown. It seems like this match would mark the end of their rivalry, but who’s next?
