Logan Paul retained his title at Royal Rumble. He was wrestling against heavy odds, especially after his brass knuckles were caught by the referee. However, things took a turn, resulting in Kevin Owens‘ disqualification. As a result, The Maverick walked home with his much-loved United States Championship belt. But this victory came at a cost.

Logan Paul will remember his bout with KO for a while

Facing KO wasn’t an easy task for a part-time wrestler like Logan Paul. The YouTuber-turned-wrestler was still confident about facing the former red brand wrestler. Despite his belief in himself and his ability to exploit the security system of WWE to cheat his way to victory, Owens was able to give Logan a run for his money.

During their bout, Paul was experiencing the wrath and strength of “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare”. Unsurprisingly, Paul turned to his ‘brass knuckle’. None of his antics seemed to work, as Owens was able to pin him down. In the end, the challenger was disqualified as he was spotted wearing the knuckles himself. In spite of the result, Paul was scared of Owens as he had completely beaten him up.

Now, days after their match at the Royal Rumble, Paul confessed, “Kevin, um, he’s ruthless, man. I’ll be honest with you.” He also added, “He has fingerprints on my chest [and] my shoulder. I’ll be honest, I underestimated him but I was playing chess and he was playing checkers.

For a while, it may be that Logan Paul won’t be able to defend himself against anyone because of the bruises that Kevin Owens had left him. But now, he may have more time on his hands than ever before.
