The former NXT Champion’s finisher is the same as that of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Furthermore, Owens has been constantly taking shots at Texas, which might result in Austin coming out to face him.

Kevin Owens’ current run on the WWE Raw brand is with Seth “Freaking” Rollins. The duo has started teaming up for the past few weeks, and their partnership has entertained the WWE Universe.

The Messiah of Drip and Owens plans to capture the Raw Tag-Team Championship.

The former NXT Champion appeared on the latest episode of Out Of character with Ryan Satin. Kevin unknowingly teased the WWE Universe again when asked about thoughts of striking a smack on Texas. When Owens was asked about whether he was worried that his trash talk about Texas might lead to a retired Texas legend coming back at WrestleMania.

Owens replied smartly, “No, no, I am not worried about that.” The former NXT Champion was very confident when he said this. However, using Stone Cold’s finishing move “Stunner” inside the ring makes a statement itself. Kevin added, “When you speak from the heart, nothing bad can happen to you.”

Kevin Owens is only a step away from calling Stone Cold Steve Austin because, till now, he has only talked about Austin’s birth state. But, other than taking the WWE Hall of Famer’s actual name, he has done his part of the play to tease the fans.

Will the WWE successfully bring Stone Cold Steve Austin to WrestleMania?

On next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins, and the Canadian Owens will collide against RK-Bro and The Alpha Academy for the Raw Tag-Team Championship title.

However, WWE and Rollins have whispered that he might ruin or interfere with the Winner Takes All Unification Match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. If the company continues to go in this direction for The Messiah of Drip, then there are high chances for Kevin Owens to face the Texas legend Stone Cold Steve Austin.
