“Well, up until 2006, we were pretty close, but, you know, my behavior became erratic. I started, you know, behaving out of control, sending Vince text messages, threatening to beat him up. “So a lot of top guys — so I was kind of there to keep the product intact. And it just mentally — I was just losing it and I was texting Vince more and more. He wouldn’t respond so that would piss me off even more and after I joined ECW, it got even worse.”

Kurt Angle thinks of Vince McMahon as a father figure

In another episode of his podcast, Angle revealed how he could never say no to Vince McMahon. He never turned down anything creative and always said yes. The Hall of Famer was always crazy enough to do anything. So when WWE would tell him to cut a promo, he would do it. They’d tell him to do something in a match, he would do it. Angle was always been about making his father figure proud.
