The Undertaker has been a part of several rivalries during his in-ring WWE career. His rivalry with WWE legend Mick Foley is one such iconic rivalry that the WWE Universe can never forget. Recently, Mick Foley revealed how famous singer-songwriter Kurt Cobain gave him the confidence to carry himself in WWE.

During a recent episode of the Foley Is Pod podcast on AdFree Shows.com, Foley recalled Vince McMahon talking to him about a new look in WWE. The WWE legend noted Mr. McMahon once told him they want to put him under a hood. After learning about this, Foley thought it would prevent his facial expressions.

Mick Foley said, “He [Vince McMahon] shows me the illustration, which would have revealed very little of my face. I said, ‘I think I have got pretty good facial expressions. Won’t that prevent them?’ Vince said, ‘It won’t prevent them, it will accentuate them.'”

Further, Foley added, “So, I started thinking about Kurt Cobain and the Smells Like Teen Spirit video where at first, you didn’t really know what Kurt Cobain looked like. He had the hair covered, one eye and then when he shook his head, you can kind of see what he looked like. That was pretty intriguing.”

Mick Foley is currently retired from in-ring action. But he had made some appearances on WWE television following his in-ring retirement. He is a WWE Hall of Famer and ‘The Phenom‘ recently joined him in the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Undertaker is now a WWE Hall of Famer like Mick Foley

The Undertaker and Mick Foley had some brilliant matches against each other. They produced some exceptional moments for the fans to enjoy during their matches. Recently, The Undertaker joined Foley and several other legends in the WWE Hall of Fame.

After retiring from in-ring action in 2020, ‘The Phenom’ finally got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame just prior to WWE WrestleMania 38.

The Undertaker looked emotional as he gave his Hall of Fame speech. Every fan enjoyed that speech and it was a special day for the WWE legend and all his fans. Vince McMahon himself inducted The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame.
