During the moments after the broadcasts of WWE Backlash France, the date and venue of WrestleMania XLI, the most important event of 2025 in WWE, has been confirmed. As seen in the preview presented at the Kentucky Derby, The Showcase of Immortals will arrive in Las Vegas for an edition that promises to surpass the records obtained by this year’s show in Philadelphia. The press release also confirms editions of SmackDown, RAW, NXT Stand & Deliver, and the WWE Hall of Fame in the same city.

But it seems like the fans do not like the idea of Las Vegas hosting the biggest event in the WWE. In fact, the decision is facing severe backlash online, especially after the amazing crowd tonight at Backlash.

Fans want the WWE to change locations

Nevada will host its first WrestleMania since the ninth edition of the event in 1993, with the 41st edition taking place in a stadium with a capacity of more than 65,000 spectators. In the past, Allegiant Stadium was responsible for hosting SummerSlam 2021, WWE’s first Premium Live Event after its cycle of closed-door shows due to the global COVID pandemic. And now it is gearing up again to host the Stage of the Immortals. But it seems like the fans want the WWE to move out of the U.S. for a bit.

The last edition of WrestleMania took place on April 6 and April 7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. And now the fans want a different country altogether as the French have proven that the WWE is surely loved worldwide. Criticizing the move to LA, here are some of the reactions:

But this user wanted the WWE to create history by doing it in an African nation!

Cheering on for the French crowd, this fan wanted that France should get the chance to recreate the same energy in WrestleMania.

The road to this latest announcement was shrouded in unknowns, especially as it was not made during the broadcasts of the last WrestleMania as is customary within the company. It looked like Minnesota was poised to step up as the show’s official venue. However, rumors about a possible last-minute offer from Las Vegas took shape.
