As we inch closer to the WrestleMania week, the excitement is getting higher. The WrestleMania season not only brings dream feuds but also unexpected returns. There are reports that Triple H will bring in a former WWE Superstar for the Royal Rumble, an event known for memorable returns.

WWE and TNA Legend, Kurt Angle was invited as a panel guest at the Steel City Con in December 2023 to talk about his career, and experiences, and answer fan queries. The video of the con was uploaded on the YouTube channel Fandom Spotlite on December 28th where Angle revealed about his future in WWE.

Kurt Angle hints at returning in Royal Rumble 2024

During the fan query, he was asked about his future with WWE. Responding to the query he said, “I have a contract with WWE. I’m sure they’re going to possibly use me for something at WrestleMania or Royal Rumble or something. They always come up with something.”

As per Angle, he is still contracted with WWE for appearances in different capacities. Considering the list of PLEs in the next few months, there is a high probability that he will be seen soon, most probably in the Royal Rumble.

The Olympic Gold medallist was last seen in WrestleMania 2019 when he wrestled his retirement match against Baron Corbin. After losing the match, he called curtains on his illustrious career but continued to make appearances for TV programming.

Angle then further commented about his availability for the upcoming events. He said, “I’ll eventually do something crazy with WWE and I’m sure I will in the future” It confirms that Angle will make himself available if WWE calls him for something and he is confident that they will.

Yesterday, The People’s Champ, The Rock made an unexpected return to RAW for Day 1. He makes sporadic appearances in WWE, but this was different. This time, he busted Jinder Mahal out of the ring while hinting at a feud against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. During his previous appearance in SmackDown, he briefly mentioned the possibility of a match at WrestleMania.
