Buddy Murphy sent a message to Andrade following his release from WWE.

He filled his message with appreciation for the former WWE Superstar, and almost everyone agrees with what he has to say.

WWE announced it was releasing Andrade from his contract on Sunday. The former NXT Superstar had made strides within the company when he first arrived, but towards the end he asked the company to release him.

His last match was against Angel Garza on October 12th, 2020 on Monday Night Raw.

When Andrade arrived, he seemed like a promising Superstar with much potential. However, he could never make an impression on the main roster.

He signed with WWE in 2015, and started rising through the ranks after being paired with Zelina Vega. Andrade defeated Drew McIntyre and held the NXT Championship title for over 100 days.

He moved to SmackDown in 2018, where he won the United States Championship. In 2019, Andrade moved to Raw.

Finally, in March 2021, Andrade requested for a release and later confirmed the news on social media. Initially, WWE denied these rumours, but Andrade’s release confirmed it further. As of now, he has made no announcement about his future plans.

The company released Velina Vega in November 2020.

He might sign with AEW, or he might go back to Japan or Mexico, where he established himself. If he signs with AEW, he will add to the list of Superstars who transitioned from WWE to AEW after not being used to their full capacity or not booking them for captivating storylines.

Charlotte Flair wanted a storyline with Andrade

The former NXT Superstar is engaged to Charlotte Flair. When Flair returned, everyone expected the duo to make a comeback together, and be a part of a storyline together.

“I’ve actually pitched that. I would be very much open to that. I’ve done a lot in my career, but nobody has seen me in an on-cam relationship, or in that light. I can come across cold on TV.”

However, Andrade did not get a chance while Flair went into being booked for good storylines. Her last storyline involved Ric Flair and Lacey Evans.
