From Tama Tonga to Liv Morgan: Here Are All the Superstars Drafted During SmackDown 04/26

The draft season for this year is back with an array of superstars ready to interchange brands to boost up competition moving forward. SmackDown is down to reshuffle their roster first tonight with some biggest names in the eligible pool of talents, including the stacked-up new Bloodline troops. This year’s Draft is unique with some new rules in force that include champions of each brand being locked in their respective brands except current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane, NXT stars being eligible to switch brands, etc. Let’s check out all the 16 superstars who have the responsibility to carry the grace of the blue brand for the upcoming season going into effect from Monday, May 6.

After a contract signing session between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles for the title match at Backlash next weekend, Paul Heyman announced Roman Reigns’ voluntary withdrawal from this year’s WWE Draft eligible list. Shortly after, Triple H and Cody Rhodes graced the ring to announce the first round of stars getting a ticket to the blue brand for a year. Cody Rhodes revealed The EST, Bianca Belair in the No. 1 spot heading to SmackDown. Triple H, then picked up Jey Uso, moving to Raw as the first. Rhodes again got back with the mic, announcing that Carmelo Hayes has been drafted to “SmackDown” as the number three pick. Then, Triple H announced Seth “Freakin” Rollins next as the number four pick to move to “Raw”.

The second set of draft picks came up by Michelle McCool for SmackDown and Torrie Wilson for Raw. Randy Orton stays on SmackDown and Nia Jax signs up as the newest superstar of the blue brand where Bron Breakker has been called by Raw, being split from his bitter rival Karmelo Hayes.

The third round of the WWE Draft was underway next, with Bubba Ray Dudley being the announcer for SmackDown and D-Von Dudley for Raw. LA Knight and the chunk of Bloodline, including Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Paul Heyman, stayed in the blue brand while Sheamus and Ricochet moved to Raw.
In the last round for tonight, Teddy Long spilled AJ Styles and Andrade as the SmackDown superstars for the next season while JBL declared Chad Gable, Otis, Maxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa as the Raw troops.
