Logan Paul’s First Statement After Re-Signing With WWE Clarifies ‘Photoshop’ Rumors and Stephanie McMahon’s Absence

Logan Paul has committed his future to WWE. After the stellar rookie year that he had with the promotion, it was only a matter of time. However, it is not Paul’s contract renewal that’s garnering people’s attention, rather; they are interested in the circumstances of his signing.

‘The Maverick’ last had an acclaimed battle with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 and shed light on his deal with WWE coming to an end. His new arrangement with the company has quashed any concerns about his future. Though fans are claiming that the image Paul put up announcing his contract renewal is photoshopped. And now he has responded to those claims amid supposed proof.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com had put Paul’s last year’s contract signing picture and the current image side by side on his Twitter account. The caption to the post read, “hey Man”

It’s hard to ignore the eerie similarity between the two images. The YouTuber-turned-actor put up a post on his social media account rejecting the assertions. He wrote, Some people are saying I photoshopped my new contract from the first time I signed with the WWE. That is untrue. As you can see, my jacket is a different color, Stephanie McMahon is no where to be found, and Prime is a different flavor.”

Well, Paul has answered allegations by pointing out to the image being photoshopped and the absence of Stephanie McMahon from the picture. It’s also a great way to create buzz around his new arrangement with the Stamford-based promotion regardless of the truth. Undoubtedly, The IMPAULSIVE podcast host’s time in the promotion has earned him praise from many quarters.

WWE also seems quite content with regard to his continued association with the company. As can be seen by Chief Content Officer Triple H’s recent social media activity.

Triple H has also commented on Paul’s new deal

He posted on his Twitter account, “A proven Superstar on the biggest stage. Can’t wait to see what’s next for @LoganPaul.”

Having been a part of the business for decades, The Game recognizes what works in the industry. And with the impact that Paul has had in his very first year in professional wrestling, it was a foregone conclusion that his deal was getting extended.

Triple H has an eye for talent, as can be seen with his impressive work in NXT and he may have again struck gold.

Regardless of whether his contract-signing image was real or not, Logan Paul is a prized acquisition for WWE. It will be interesting to see what’s next for him in the world of wrestling.
