The Bloodline saga is undergoing a tricky period as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Roman Reigns are absent. But Solo Sikoa has seemingly occupied the seat heading The Bloodline and introduced a new member. The WWE world saw Solo Sikoa introduce a new member to the family. In the video, after Sikoa walked to Paul Heyman, Tama Tonga stood right behind Heyman and Sikoa announced, “Meet the newest member of the Bloodline… MFT.”

In the recent episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on April 19, Tama displayed some raw skills. Tama exiled Jimmy Uso and then launched an unprovoked attack on Kevin Owens, leaving fans and even legends to try and decipher the meaning of MFT. On Episode 529 of the Jim Cornette Experience, Brian Solomon and Cornette discussed about the Owens beat down and the new moniker issued by Sikoa.

While trying to decode what it meant, they encountered many variations of the abbreviation when they googled it. Words like marriage and family therapist, and multiple file transfer, but this was in no way related to Tama. However, Cornette came up with a different spin on it and said, “My tough friend, my major f****ing troublemaker… I think it’s better than anybody else has come up with on Google.” While many fans have their version of the MFT moniker, only Sikoa, Tonga, and Paul Heyman know what it means.

It should also be noted that Tonga is not related to any of the Anoa’is by blood. But he is the son of legendary wrestler Haku. The Rock refers to Haku as “Uncle Tonga,” so this formed a close relationship between the star cousins and Tama Tonga. Lance Anoa’i has mentioned how they consider Tonga as family and said, “Not by blood. We consider him… I believe it’s just more like the island culture. We’re all from the South Pacific, so the islanders just stick together… I’ve seen Tama Tonga growing up…”

However, since his debut on SmackDown, Tonga has played enforcer to Sikoa just like he was to Reigns. With the rumors that the WWE has signed Jacob Fatu, The Bloodline could witness new members in the coming weeks. This could lead to a showdown once Reigns returns around SummerSlam.

New blood to take on old blood in the next chapter of The Bloodline?

With Tonga in The Bloodline and Jacob and Zilla Fatu following soon, the WWE will see a new Bloodline led by Sikoa. Selected by Reigns as the next heir to the Tribal Chief throne, it is speculated that Sikoa is now the Head of the Table following The Tribal Chief’s defeat at Mania XL. However, fans have been speculating it could also be Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

We shouldn’t forget that The Rock had other intentions in his mind when he outlined his desire to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Despite the match not coming to fruition, the Final Boss moniker could be a prelude to things to come rather than just an intimidating nickname. From the first episode after Mania, it was clear that The Bloodline wanted Cody Rhodes‘s WWE Universal title back.

This would lead to their feud, where Jimmy and Jey Uso could reunite to help Rhodes and take their revenge on The Bloodline. This is where Reigns could come in to dictate the fate of the faction he created.
