“Manager”, “Enforcer”, “General Manager”: Fans Speculate on Dwayne Johnson’s Daughter, Ava’s New Role After Her Partners Left the Company

It has been over three months since WWE’s first fourth-generation superstar had had a televised match. Yes, the last time Ava locked horns inside the squared circle was at Heatwave 2023. Her opponent, Ivy Nile, managed to win the bout in a little over two minutes at the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando. Since the 22/8 encounter, Dwayne Johnson‘s oldest daughter hasn’t had a match.

This is bound to start speculation amongst fans. But going a step ahead, the faithful have actually suggested a possible job role for the 22-year-old. Fans took to social media platform X, to speculate Ava‘s future role in the Stamford-based promotion. But before delving into the reactions, let’s find out what the Anoa’i family member has been up to lately.

Faction break, no show: Ava’s mixed bag in 2023

This year has been a mixed bag for Ava in the WWE. While she received a significant push early on in 2023, an unforeseen event is likely to have derailed her momentum in the promotion.

Much like her legendary father, she started out in a stable to a lukewarm response and then had a rechristening, but that is where the similarities ended. While the transformation to The Rock from Rocky Maivia did wonders for Dwayne Johnson, dropping Raine from her name hasn’t given Ava similar luck.

On the contrary, she witnessed her faction falling apart as two of its members left the promotion. Recently, WWE posted on X regarding this. In late September, reports emerged of Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler leaving WWE and soon the duo bid adieu, leaving many fans in tears and Ava’s career in jeopardy.

The other remaining member, Joe Gacy, also publicly ended his ties with The Rock’s daughter, thus decimating the faction. Well, now fans have the perfect role for Ava.

Is the WWE prepping Ava for the administrative role?

As mentioned above, Ava isn’t just any other wrestler trying to ply her trade in the Endeavor-owned company. Her history and ties date back several decades. Therefore, it won’t be surprising to see Ava taking up a new role.

There are reports detailing her lower limbs and the surgeries she had undergone. If her knees act up, it would be difficult for her to wrestle, something she has been vocal about earlier. Does that explain the lack of a ring appearance? Maybe so, but cheer up if you’re a fan.

This user has already envisioned Ava in a managerial role.

The pro wrestler was seen coming out of NXT creative head Shawn Michaels’ cabin. When questioned, she announced a match between Roxanne and Kiana James, channeling her inner boss lady. This prompted the next user to call her an ‘enforcer’.

A third user also voted in favor of Ava’s managerial stint.

However, not everyone was cheerful about the possible development. Some also appeared sarcastic.

They appeared confident of the former Schism member’s role as Assistant GM in NXT and even provided some logic behind the thought.
