On the Hall of Fame podcast with Booker T, Mark Henry revealed why he wants to return to the ring, and why he wants to wait till he’s 50.

“There’s a lot of kids that didn’t get to see me wrestle, that they’ve only saw me on YouTube. It’s been enough time that has passed. Also, I quit before I had a last match, before I waved at everybody.

“Okay, I had the pink jacket on, I’m sorry I lied to y’all that I was leaving, I was retiring; I own it. But I did not get that match where you go and pay tribute to the fans and you go and you wrestle somebody that’s up and coming, that’s talented, and you give them what we call the rub.

“I didn’t do that, and I feel guilty. That’s why I’m doing it. And I figured, well imma wait till I’m fifty so the expectation is lower.

“People don’t expect me to go out there and have a 20-minute 5-star match. Just to be honest, I’m telling you this right now. Listen, I’m gonna go out there in really good shape; I’m already 80 pounds lighter than I was when I had my last match.”

What will it take for him to return?

Along with providing a reason for wanting to return, Mark Henry also offered a list of demands for his last match. Along with the right opponent, the World’s Strongest Man also made some hilarious requests.

“I’m gonna be in really good shape and it’s gonna take a good man to beat me, but it won’t take long. The money’s gotta be right, I want oxygen at the Gorilla when I walk through the curtain.

“I want all green M&Ms in a bowl in my gym room. I want a pork chop sandwich on the table; imma ask for everything.”

Will Vince McMahon agree with Henry’s requests? If he does, who will be the perfect opponent to retire the WWE Hall of Famer?
