The full video in which Chris is interviewing Hardy is not out yet; the former uploaded a promotional clip on his Instagram account to hype the fans. The interviewer asked the wrestling legend about his plans for the future since his contract situation was out in the open now.

Matt Hardy revealed that it is important for the legacy that he and his brother built, to get utilized as the legends that they are, and not get beaten up by new stars. “You can’t just go out there and get beat every single week. So it’s very important to me that we’re utilized in the right way so that when we do have a program with someone and we build to a big match, and when they beat us, then it means something,” confessed Matt Hardy.

The Hardy Boyz often lost during their AEW run. So, it could be possible that they are looking for a change in booking style. This might be foreshadowing the legendary tag team’s imminent WWE return ahead of WrestleMania XL.

Matt Hardy has been dropping hints that he may show up in WWE soon.
