Mick Foley Believes WWE Raw Superstar is Quickly Getting Over With Fans

WWE superstar Damian Priest has been on a roll ever since he debuted on the main roster. Competing on the Red Brand of Vince’s company, Damian created history when he became the first Puerto Rican born superstar to win a championship in WWE.

He became the WWE United States Championship at the SummerSlam PPV in Las Vegas, where he defeated ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus in one of the best matches of that night.

Mick Foley thinks WWE has big plans for Damian Priest

WWE Hall of Famer and Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley took to Twitter after tonight’s Monday Night Raw, where Damian Priest won a triple threat match against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

Foley confesses WWE is pushing Damian to the moon because of all his positive matches so far. And even mentioned that his son, Dewey Foley, praises Damian as well from their time in NXT.

“Looks to me like Damian Priest is getting over big time. My son spoke very highly of him while working with him in @WWENXT #RAW @ArcherOfInfamy @DeweyHaveTo” Foley wrote.

However, Foley’s son, Dewey, replied to his dad’s tweet saying that he was embarrassing him for mentioning him on his Twitter post.

For now, it looks like WWE has big plans for the United States champion since Damian pinned a former WWE Champion Drew to retain his championship on tonight’s Raw.
