The Undertaker’s career is a unique achievement due to the number of years he managed to stay at the top of the food chain. Taking on younger and tougher opponents every year, he has seen them come and go but still stands strong.
“He’s proved time and time again that he’s one of the toughest guys in the history of the business just by the stuff he’s done at some of the WrestleMania pay-per-views,” says Austin.
Being one of the most popular superstars of all time, Stone Cold admits that the pressure is immense. At one point, WWE’s sales depended on one man, which was Stone Cold. He knows a thing or two about being at the ‘all or nothing’ stage.
“Man, when a company is betting on you that’s a hell of a lot of pressure. You must perform and that’s what he’s always done,” says Austin “To ride the edge of a lighting bolt for 30 years, he’s had hands down one of the absolute best careers in the history of the business.”
The Undertaker played a big role in Mick Foley’s career
Mick Foley also weighed in and spared none of his thoughts when it came to speaking about Taker.
“The enormity of what he did for my career, it can’t be understated. I can’t even imagine what my life would be like without him,” admits Foley “I believe The Undertaker has transcended sports entertainment and I will forever think of him as one of the greatest stars in all of entertainment.”
