WATCH: The Undertaker’s Former Rival Chokes Out Fan in the Mall of America

The WWE has a very popular tagline, “Don’t try this at home, school, or anywhere.” It simply means that wrestlers face immense dangers in the ring, and it should be limited only inside the squared circle. But imagine when a WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t follow the protocol.

Recently, a wrestling fan got himself caught in a very dangerous submission by this WWE Hall of Famer. A submission maneuver that has put many WWE legends to sleep was experienced by a non-professional. This Hall of Famer is none other than Mankind, aka Mick Foley.

We know Mick Foley for the most infamous spot in the WWE. The Undertaker at the King of the Ring 1998 threw Mankind from top of the Hell in a Cell chamber through an announcer’s table.

Mick Foley won the 24/7 Championship!

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley today won the hearts of millions of wrestling fans. Mankind, in a hilarious video, locked a wrestling fan in a sleeper hold to win the WWE 24/7 Championship. Foley attended a signing session in a mall where he met a fan who claimed to be the WWE 24/7 Champion.

In the video, Mankind came from behind and choked out this wrestling fan to earn a championship belt which he revealed in the first place.

Mick Foley posted, “FOLEY WINS THE TITLE! Share the joy as I claim the 24/7 title!”

The guy who Foley took down also messaged in the same tweet, expressing his view on meeting the WWE Hall of Famer.

“It was an honor to meet and lose the 24/7 title to you @RealMickFoley sorry for not selling the move. But thank you for making my first meet and greet unforgettable. And have nice day,” Bruski replied.

WWE Hall of Famer followed the protocols of the company

Let’s make this clear that Foley staged the sleeper hold on a wrestling fan who came to meet him. Also, he did not actually choke him; it was just a part of an entertaining video.

In 2019, the WWE Hall of Famer proclaimed, “Let’s make Monday nights Raw again” and introduced a new championship into the company. Ultimately, Foley unveiled the new WWE 24/7 Championship on Raw. In addition, he also announced that the 24/7 Championship is open to every independent contract across the WWE. 

The only rule to win the WWE 24/7 Championship is you can count pinfall on the defending wrestler anywhere, anytime! So, naturally, the founder of the 24/7 Championship finally got his hands on the title by defeating a fan.

However, it was an act of entertainment. Mick Foley knows the protocols of WWE, and trying out dangerous moves outside the ring is not something he would do.
