Every love story needs a villain, and Mandy Rose and Otis just found the one in theirs. The Miz pulled off a move that was evil and genius at the same time.

After pulling some strings backstage and exploiting his connections with the USA Network, he managed to get Mandy Rose drafted to Raw. Obviously, this means that the lovebirds are now on different brands.

Mandy was livid at this cheap move and she gave Miz an earful on Twitter. Despite her frustration at being separated from Otis, she is determined to prove herself on the red brand.

Meanwhile, Otis also expressed his sadness and anger over this decision. He warned the Miz of dire consequences.

Mandy Rose might be destined for big things

It’s no secret that WWE rates Mandy highly. She has the look as well as the charisma to succeed on the big stage.

While SmackDown will see Bayley and Sasha take center stage for the next few months, Raw desperately needs some firepower in its women’s division. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are currently in a tag team, which leaves the singles division with a dearth of quality talent.

These are ripe circumstances for Mandy to be groomed as a long term star. The best route forward will be a heel turn. That allows her to challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship.

In the long run, Sonya Deville can make a triumphant comeback and gun for revenge.

Talking about Otis, this writer is as clueless as anyone else. He currently holds the Money in the Bank briefcase but with Roman Reigns as the top champion, it’s next to impossible that he will successfully cash it in.

The question begs itself – why was Otis given the briefcase in the first place when the WWE didn’t trust him enough? If the company actually saw him as a future Champion, he would’ve been booked strongly in the aftermath of his win.

Instead, he has competed only in tag team contests. Hence, he will either be unsuccessful whenever he cashes in or lose his contract to someone else.

As unfortunate as that sounds, it’s the only plausible route going forward. Whatever happens, Mandy and Otis will be part of the headlines for the foreseeable future.
