The Undertaker has been a standout performer in the world of professional wrestling for over three decades. His influence on WWE can never be underestimated. Not many many know it, but the WWE legend is also a huge fan of MMA and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of ESPN, “The Deadman” shared his thoughts on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s retirement. Taker is convinced that the fight we witnessed last month was not the last we’ll see of the MMA legend.

“I think he comes back. I think we’ve all been kind of we’d all look at that nowadays when somebody says that with a lifted eyebrow. Really, you know, how many times is Connor retired? How many times you know, Jon Jones has retired?

“It’s just like there’s always a fight out there,” said Taker, “and there’s always a number out there that says ‘Ah I can still do this’, and I think now the time, it’s a ploy.”

Taker feels Khabib Nurmagomedov got caught up with the emotions
Taker believes that the entire heat of the mount mixed with the emotion made Khabib announce his retirement. Caught up in the moment, Khabib was more influenced by his father’s unfortunate demise.

“So I think it was legitimate, you know, I think it was legitimate when he’s saying that I’m done but I think you know, as time goes by here and a few months I think we’ll start seeing maybe clips of Khabib training and you know hitting it or doing something and it’ll lead up to it,” said Taker.
“The Phenom” explains how Khabib is just too good to be done yet. There is a lot more left to accomplish for the MMA star.

“There’s just too many good fights for him,” said Taker. “And I think it’s just it’s what he does. You know, that’s the big thing because you know, all these guys they don’t need money. Conor doesn’t need money. Yeah, so that’s not the motivation.”

“You know, this is what your body- my body is telling me regardless how bad it feels I should be getting ready and their bodies are going to do the same thing and it’s just their instincts. So I would I’ll make a wager with you that we will see could be even the ring again, the Octagon again,” concluded Taker.
