WWE Women’s division experienced an evolution and turned into what it is today, from the diva’s division in the past. WWE Superstars such as Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair played important roles in bringing forward the evolution.
These four women collectively are known as the four horsewomen of the WWE. Similarly, there also exists the four horsewomen of MMA, which consist of Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler.

For a long time, a feud was in question between these eight horsewomen. However, the feud never took place. When Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke entered WWE, Rousey had already left after WrestleMania 35. However, when Rousey returned this year, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke had already left.
Speaking to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, Shafir discussed why the feud never took place. She stated that egos got in between the feud, and it never took place. Shafir said, “Hey, egos were at play. There’s too many f**king cooks in the kitchen sometimes. In more ways than one.”
Today I’ve got the Problem @MarinaShafir on The Sessions! We got to sit down in person this past week in Newark. We talked all things wrestling, motherhood, breastfeeding while 💩ing 😂, the 4 Horsewomen 👀 and Bloodsport. Give us a listen today!! pic.twitter.com/fQGOYm3Bto

The 34-year-old further revealed, how she felt professional wrestling was exclusive back in the day. She said, “It wasn’t just about politicking, it was about really showing respect, not kissing a** or feeling like you have to give something up of yourself to take it to the next level.” Her statements seemed as a subtle dig at Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair, for ruining the much-hyped match between these eight women.

While the four horsewomen of WWE are still with the company, half of the four horsewomen of MMA are out of WWE. Only Rousey and Baszler remain with the company, while Shafir and Duke are out. However, fans will have to wait, if they ever want to witness the rivalry between these two factions.
