The 2022 Royal Rumble came with many surprise returns and one of them was Ronda Rousey at No. 28. ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ Ronda Rousey won the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

After 3 years, ‘Rowdy’, who took time off and started a family, returned and made a bold statement as she cleared the ring. The former Raw Women’s champion eliminated 4 women (Nikki A.S.H., Brie Bella, Shotzi, and Charlotte Flair) and lasted for 15 minutes in the match.

How did Ronda Rousey carve her road to victory?

The Women’s Royal Rumble started with Sasha Banks and Melina in the ring. However, ‘The Boss’ couldn’t last long as Queen Zelina eliminated her.

WWE Legends like Lita, Michelle McCool, and Impact Knockouts champion Mickie James pulled off impressive returns in the match. However, they couldn’t make it to the business end of the Rumble.

The final four women standing in the ring were Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey.

Entering at no. 8, Bianca Belair lashed for over 40 mins. Although Shayna Baszler entered at 30, she couldn’t make the most of her late entry. On the other hand, Charlotte Flair, who entered at no.17, eliminated 6 women, including Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair.

Ronda Rousey, who was the third last entrant, shared the ring with Charlotte Flair as the final two superstars. As ‘The Queen’ charged ‘Rowdy’, she was lifted and tossed over the top rope.

Hence, Charlotte now has the most runner-up finishes in Women’s Royal Rumble Matches.

At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to become the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion. Hence, it is likely that Ronda will choose Becky Lynch to regain her Raw Women’s Championship.

As ‘Rowdy’ will appear on the next episode of Raw, it is looking even more likely.
