“Nearly Got Booted”: Female Hulk Hogan Reveals Her WWE Career Was in Jeopardy as She Fought Personal Battles

Rhea Ripley is one of the fastest-rising WWE Superstars. And indeed, she has the potential to be one of the greatest WWE Superstars in history. Moreover, Ripley has incredible athletic skills and impressive strength. This makes her an ideal candidate to carry the Women’s division in the future.

Notably, she is a former NXT UK Women’s Champion as well as a former NXT Women’s Champion. Rhea has also won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship along with Nikki A.S.H. Additionally, she is also a former Raw Women’s Champion. In her very brief career, Ripley has achieved more than most wrestlers do in their entire careers. However, WWE’s future megastar Rhea Ripley was once almost fired by the company.

‘The Nightmare’ recently appeared on “My Love Letter To Wrestling with Mark Andrews”. In conversation, Ripley shared how she felt during her initial days in WWE.

“I went through a lot mentally behind the scenes. I was having troubles at home. I was having troubles at work. I hated myself. I was very mentally weak at that time. I just didn’t feel like I was good enough. I was constantly being told that I wasn’t good enough and I had to do something to improve it.”

Additionally, Ripley talked about how she found her character in WWE. Rhea’s new ‘Nightmare’ persona helped her stay in the industry. Recognizing her caliber, even WWE Hall of Famer Booker T referred to Rhea Ripley as the “female Hulk Hogan” on his “The Hall of Fame” podcast.

Rhea Ripley is close to a major accomplishment in WWE

As mentioned before, in her short career and at a very young age, Rhea has accomplished a lot in WWE. She has won every Women’s title available right now in the company, except one.

Rhea has never held the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. And if she is to win that title in the future, she will officially become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

Since her breakup with Nikki A.S.H as a tag team, Ripley is looking like a dominant singles competitor again. Her list of accolades already includes winning a World Championship at WrestleMania. Undoubtedly, it will be interesting to see what Rhea does next.
