Jeff Hardy is one of the most talented and experimental wrestlers to date. Every single upcoming wrestler copies his entire move set today. But sadly, this talent also came with its fair share of problems. Issues that would make it impossible for bookers and promoters to work with him. But on top of that, Hardy also had a streak of crimes under his belt, which didn’t help his case.

Then, years later, after his peak career, he made a surprise WWE return in 2017. But another set of problems cropped up, and he would find himself in AEW. But on June 13, 2022, the authorities arrested Hardy for a DUI case. Since then, we have received few and far updates. But now, his brother, Matt Hardy, has come out saying that this time Jeff will completely heal.

The reason behind Jeff Hardy coming out healthy completely

On the recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the former WWE tag team champion talks about his brother, Jeff Hardy. In the interview, the biggest question was about Hardy’s recovery in rehab. To that question, Matt answered, “He just went into it with a different mentality, and he’s never been this scared before. There were a lot of talks where they wanted him to go to prison for months and do this.

To add to this, Matt also mentioned that this is just the beginning for Jeff, as he was looking to use himself as an example to improve other wrestlers’ lives. We have already lost a lot of wrestlers to drug overdose and we can’t keep losing more. So, if Matt’s words do come true, Jeff would become a beacon for wrestlers once again.

But throughout his career, one constant supporter of the former WWE Champion has been his fans. They saw him rise to the ranks in WWE and finally become WWE Champion in a heartwarming moment. But it all ended pretty soon from there when WWE made their drug use policy stricter and Jeff left the company.

While his peak performance era might have flown by, Hardy is still a big part of wrestling history and will always be. They still do hope for the best for Jeff and don’t force him to restart his wrestling career after seeing all the demons he had to face.
