In the ’80s and ’90s, Hulk Hogan was the hottest commodity to come out of WWE. This meant that his footprint in the pop culture of that time was imminent. He had a spot with a good friend, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Manganiello in 2014 to promote their movie. At a different time, Snoop Dogg dropped in and imitated the Hulkster with Hogan beside him in the middle of the ring.
But the most iconic of these has to be Mr. T. The man who made WrestleMania 1 happen alongside Hogan. But one who gets overshadowed is Muhammad Ali, who raised the winners at that night. And it’s not just Hulk Hogan that is a celebrity magnet because Big Show also brought many to the wrestling ring.
NBA All-Star’s appearance in WCW with Hulk Hogan could’ve cost his career
But even after leaving WWE and joining the competition WCW, the fame of the Hulkster remained still. In WCW, he had a match at the Bash of the Beach pay-per-view with no one but NBA All-Star Dennis Rodman. In 1998, Dennis Rodman famously skipped a Bulls practice before Game 4 of the NBA Finals to appear with Hulk Hogan and the nWo on WCW Nitro

To meet with Hulk Hogan, Rodman had to skip practice during NBA Finals. Not only would Michael Jordan, the legend himself, would rip into Rodman, but his fans would turn on him as well. It was very unprofessional and insincere to leave practice at such a crucial point for his team. But one thing that fortunately didn’t happen is Rodman’s career-derailing.
