The former WWE Tag Team Champions have been butting heads since they joined forces. However, things might sour up between them quickly. On WWE Raw, Nia Jax trolled her tag team partner Shayna Baszler, telling Shayna her back hurts from carrying their team. Both women have also declared themselves for the 2021 Royal Rumble.

Nia Jax trolls Shayna Baszler on WWE Raw

Jax’s comment was quite hilarious for two reasons. First, it was genuinely funny as the look on Baszler’s face once Nia said that was one of utter disgust. Second, that Nia thinks she’s the one carrying the team is absolutely ludicrous. Shayna Baszler is by far the superior wrestler, and would humble Nia Jax in a fair fight.

Nia was on commentary for Shayna’s match against Mandy Rose. Despite their differences, Jax still believed that she and Shayna would regain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They commented on the current state of affairs of the current tag team champions. Jax pointed out that between Charlotte having ‘daddy issues’ and Asuka being creeped out by Alexa Bliss, they have a pretty good chance.

Shayna Baszler vs Mandy Rose

Shayna made relatively quick work of Mandy, making her tap out to the dreaded Kirafuda Clutch. They wrestled this match at the perfect pace and had the right result. Mandy had no right picking up a clean win over the longest reigning NXT Champion of all time.

After the match, Shayna walked over to Nia and asked her if she caught a peek at what she just did. While they were arguing, Dana Brooke came off the apron with a missile dropkick, driving both women into the ring post.

After the match, Nia and Shayna were interviewed about their current state of affairs. Despite their differences in the interview prior to the match with Mandy Rose, both women promised to regain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Charlotte Flair and Asuka.

Along with the issue surrounding the tag titles, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler have entered the 2021 Royal Rumble. Nia will be an indomitable presence in the match, and will be a favourite to win the whole thing. In last year’s Rumble match, Shayna was the surprise #30 entrant and went on an insane sprint, eliminating eight people before being eliminated by Charlotte Flair.
