9 Years After the Shield’s Break Up, Seth Rollins Could Form a New Faction With Becky Lynch and Two Top Stars: “A Faction of Friends”

Seth Rollins is reemerging to become the top fixture on Monday Night RAW these days. His momentum, combined with the support of the fans and his own aura is growing by the day. However, Rollins may never be able to outrun his past. Of course, who can when you came up as a part of, perhaps, one of the greatest WWE factions of all time?

The Visionary’s past run as a member of SHIELD caught up to him during his latest interview when he was asked about forming his dream faction in WWE. Apart from an obvious choice in his wife, Becky Lynch, he picked another two top stars to join his proposed unit.

Which two WWE superstars did Seth Rollins pick for his faction?

Seth Rollins came up through the ranks, as a member of the destructive trio, The Shield. Rollins, alongside Dean Ambrose and his now arch-rival Roman Reigns, decimated the competition like no other. Seth credited as “The Architect” of the group back then, was asked to put together his dream faction, years after the Shield was destroyed by Rollins himself.

During the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump, Seth Rollins was asked about forming his own dream team. He first picked his beloved wife, The Man Becky Lynch. Following that, ‘The Visionary’ selected current Undisputed WWE tag team champions, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as the two soldiers of his potential stable.

Rollins said: “If there ever would be a faction. It would be a faction of friends, whoever you know is the best. My wife she would be in the faction, Kevin and Sami they would be in the faction … basically have a great time.”

The group that Seth put together would surely be a force to be reckoned with, looking at the credibility of each of them as a top WWE superstar.

Seth Rollins could prove to be a fantastic faction leader

Seth Rollins has always proclaimed that he put the Shield together and led it to success. That itself makes him the unannounced leader of the former faction and many fans would probably agree to it. Moreover, Rollins has a great experience when it comes to leading groups.

Apart from The Shield, Seth led his famous “Messiah faction” alongside Buddy Matthews and the AOP, proving it to be a hit among fans in 2020.

And of course, who could forget the time the former “Messiah” was the leading man of Triple H’s Authority back in 2015? Moreover, Rollins is also an excellent worker when it comes to teams. He has teamed up with several stars like Braun Strowman, Jason Jordan, Kevin Owens, and his wife, Becky Lynch herself.

So he has some experience working alongside Becky and Owens, putting Zayn into the mix and they can create magic. Whether that faction could be created, only time will tell.
