Even though he is a WWE Raw Superstar, this Twitter post led fans to believe that he might be teasing a NXT move.

WWE has made no official announcement regarding this. However, prior to Andrade posting the picture, speculation was that WWE will list him in the Raw roster alongside Mickie James. They were the only two Superstars who were left as free agents after the WWE Draft 2020.

Reason why Andrade might move to NXT

One of the primary reasons why everyone speculated Andrade will go to Raw is because of Charlotte Flair. Usually, WWE does not split up couples. He even posted a tweet that said thank you with the fist emoji. Even though it no more exists on his Twitter feed, the fans immediately assumed it had something to do with him going to Raw with Charlotte.

WWE has always been unpredictable, as the company changes plans at the blink of an eye. Hence, Andrade moving to NXT might not be a surprising thing for WWE to do.

Vince McMahon never wanted to push him to the top, as was evident by his mediocre booking on the main roster. This could be another factor for him returning to the Black and Gold brand.

While there were others within the company and outside who believed that Andrade could be one of the top Hispanic Superstars, Mr. McMahon did not agree. This led him to remaining as a mid-card guy for quite a while.

However, when Paul Heyman was in charge of creative, Andrade did get a push and it looked like WWE was ready to propel him to the next level. Apart from that, Andrade never truly gained the heights that he could have had WWE invested in him properly.
