Plus, Hit Row made their in-ring debuts! However, the biggest moment coming out of this week’s show is the NXT North American Championship victory of the ‘Colossal’ Bronson Reed.

Bronson Reed- 9th NXT North American Champion
Bronson Reed did the unthinkable last night on NXT defeating Johnny Gargano to win his first title in NXT – the North American title.
The victory was an emotional one for Reed and it showed from his celebration. He reveled in the moment in the middle of the ring and even embraced his wife after the show went off the air. In all of this, his tears couldn’t stop.

In a WWE Network exclusive interview following the main event, ‘Colossal’ revealed how it felt to be champion. He said, “Overwhelming. This has been something I’ve dreamed of my whole life. I’ve always wanted to become a champion in WWE and now I’ve done it.”

The interviewee then asked Bronson Reed what the night meant to him. To which he said, “It represents 14 years of hard work. It is written in the stars that 14 years is to the day when I first had my debut match, I’ve now become North American Champion. It’s crazy.”
Speaking further on getting emotional after having won the title, Bronson revealed the emotions were real. He added he wasn’t the most emotional person and did not expect that to happen. However, his feelings got the better of him.

Bronson Reed thanked everyone from the fans in attendance to commentary and even fellow wrestlers, trainers, etc. He also thanked everyone who believed in him and credited his wife for everything she had done to help him reach this stage in his career.
The CWC erupted in a chant of ‘Thank You Paige’. The ‘Colossal’ added how difficult it was to be the wife of a pro wrestler. He credited his wife for his success and revealed that she had supported him even when he had no money. And she was

Bronson Reed and his wife embraced in the middle of the ring and then posed at the entrance stage before heading backstage. All we can say is, it was indeed one of the most emotional title wins in recent memory. The Aussie dream has finally come true!
