WWE Superstar Andrade finally got released from his WWE contract after asking for it last week. There was a lot of speculation over what would happen as the news of WWE denying the release came out. But now, they’ve finally released him, and Andrade had a few people to thank.

‘El Idolo’ Andrade took to Twitter earlier today to thank a few people in WWE who always had his back. He also thanked his fellow wrestlers and fans for being kind to him and supporting him in his tough times.

Triple H had a lot of faith in Andrade when he was a part of the black and gold brand. La Sombra didn’t have the perfect start to his NXT career, but quickly bounced back and reached the top of the mountain when he won the NXT Championship.

Every match Andrade performed in stole the show that night. We’ve mentioned a million times and we’ll do it again – NXT’s first-ever 5-star match was between Andrade (then NXT Champion) versus Johnny Gargano.

Paul Heyman is another man who Andrade thanked, and rightly so. Heyman saw what the Mexican Superstar brought to the table. Hence, gave him a strong run during his reign as the Executive Director of Raw. His United States Championship victory also came at the time when Heyman was in-charge.

Once Heyman went, so did Andrade’s push. He slowly faded into unimportant storylines, and then was taken off TV when they had nothing for him. It’s no secret WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon had no interest in Andrade. But if it’s only because of him not being a English speaker, then it’s a very lame reason to leave a talented superstar.

Last but not the least, he thanked NXT General Manager William Regal. We all know how influential and supportive Mr. Regal is with everyone down at the Performance Center. There’s no doubt the ‘Real Man’s Man’ touched ‘El Idolo’s’ life in some way or another.
