Paul Heyman is another man who Andrade thanked, and rightly so. Heyman saw what the Mexican Superstar brought to the table. Hence, gave him a strong run during his reign as the Executive Director of Raw. His United States Championship victory also came at the time when Heyman was in-charge.
Once Heyman went, so did Andrade’s push. He slowly faded into unimportant storylines, and then was taken off TV when they had nothing for him. It’s no secret WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon had no interest in Andrade. But if it’s only because of him not being a English speaker, then it’s a very lame reason to leave a talented superstar.
Last but not the least, he thanked NXT General Manager William Regal. We all know how influential and supportive Mr. Regal is with everyone down at the Performance Center. There’s no doubt the ‘Real Man’s Man’ touched ‘El Idolo’s’ life in some way or another.
