After Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vacated the titles because of injury, three of NXT’s best teams will clash for the vacant titles. Dusty Cup winners will face the team they beat in the finals, Grizzled Young Veterans and the team they beat in the semifinals, Legado Del Fantasma.

In a true US vs UK dream match, the reigning NXT UK Champion Walter will defend his title against NXT’s resident gatekeeper, Tommaso Ciampa. Finally, the main event of Night 1 will see Io Shirai put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Raquel Gonzalez. Gonzalez has been the most dominant superstar in NXT since Shayna Baszler, and maybe Shirai’s title reign is due for a crushing end.

Matches set for Night 2

If Night 1 looks like a PPV of the Year contender, wait till you see the matches set for Night 2. To kick us off, the brand new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart will defend their titles against The Way. Candice Le Rae and Indi Hartwell are the favourites to become the third team to hold the brand new belts within a month.

Because of the pandemic, Jordan Devlin left NXT and returned to his home, where he remained the Cruiserweight Champion. He refused to relinquish the belt, forcing WWE to crown a new champion. Now, Devlin’s back and wants to be recognised as the only Cruiserweight Champion.

Unfortunately, Santos Escobar won’t let that happen. He and Devlin meet in a ladder match to determine the Undisputed NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Johnny Gargano will defend his title against the winner of the gauntlet eliminator match. Dexter Lumis is touted as a favourite.
