WWE has finally announced the date for the next NXT Takeover event – October 4, 2020.
The previous NXT Takeover gave us several new champions. While Damien Priest secured the North American Title in a Ladder Match, Karrion Kross clinched the NXT title.
Unfortunately, he had to surrender the title due to an injury. This allowed Finn Balor to defeat Adam Cole for the title.

Recap of the latest WWE NXT episode
The latest episode of WWE NXT delivered some brilliant matches.
Shotzi Blackheart and Shirai battled in an entertaining match to start off the night. Even though the latter emerged victorious, the overall performance of both Superstars was commendable.
However, Blackheart had built quite the momentum for herself at NXT. Unfortunately, there is a possibility that NXT officials will now put Shirai over her.

Coming to the tag team titles, Breezango proved that their title victory wasn’t a fluke by decisively defeating Imperium.
Finally, the WWE NXT main event featured Damian Priest and Timothy Thatcher. Priest fought valiantly throughout the match to retain his North American title.
