WWE Confirms Huge Title Match with a Bizarre Contract Signing

A huge title match has been confirmed for WWE NXT Takeover: XXX. Keith Lee’s first PPV title defence will take place on August 22nd against Karrion Kross.

The show kicked-off with Karrion Kross in singles action. He would take on Danny Burch to open the show.

A charged-up Burch looked on his game tonight as he started the match in dominant fashion. However, Kross would make quick work of the British Athlete.

Seconds after the match ended, Keith walked to the ring with a contract in his hand. Lee explained that he begged GM William Regal to let him defend the title against Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver: XXX. The limitless man also promised that he will not touch Kross until the PPV.

Lee would give the contract to Scarlett who would then present it to Kross to sign. Kross would sign and then Scarlett kissed it before sliding it back to Lee.

The NXT champion would then open the contract to see the signature. However, he would be surprised as he was hit with a fireball that came out of the folder i.e. a magic kiss from Scarlett.

WWE reconfirm the championship match for NXT Takeover: XXX

WWE sent out a post following the latest edition of WWE NXT. The match is now official for NXT Takeover: XXX.

The Takeover match card was already a good one last week. Now with Keith Lee vs Karrion Kross added, this event now has become a must-watch.

Karrion Kross had his eye on the NXT championship for long. Every member of the NXT universe and locker room joined the festivities with Lee when he defeated Adam Cole at NXT: The Great American Bash.

While everyone was celebrating with Keith Lee, one certain Karrion Kross was looking to hunt down his next target. After weeks and weeks of mind games, Kross has what he wants.
