OFFICIAL! Goldberg to Challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam

WWE Universe saw Goldberg squash Bobby Lashley with his promo in this week’s WWE RAW opening segment. Lashley, who came out with MVP, made his statement clear with the help of MVP.
MVP stated Bobby would end the career of Goldberg if he ends up facing The Almighty. Goldberg came out next and took the microphone to drop a fearsome promo. Goldberg stated Lashley is scared out of his mind to meet him and left the ring by saying his iconic line, “You are Next.”

Bobby Lashley responds to Goldberg’s actions
The whole segment didn’t end there as Goldberg’s son Gage Goldberg was present in the arena sitting in the front row. MVP and Lashley went to him and trash-talked to his face as MVP threatened to end his father’s career.
Goldberg, who was backstage, came into the ring as he felt MVP crossed the line by messing with his son. Goldberg then speared MVP and threatened to destroy Lashley if he ever messes up with his son again.

After an exciting opening segment, Bobby Lashley and MVP were caught backstage, infuriated with what has happened earlier in the show. Sarah Schreiber asked for a response from Bobby, and the WWE Champion gave excellent news to the fans.
Lashley said that he hopes Goldberg brings his son to SummerSlam so that he can watch his dad get annihilated by The Almighty. MVP looked up on Lashley, as he was still recovering from the vicious spear that he ate from Goldberg.

Fans were waiting for the official announcement, and WWE has posted one on their official Twitter handle as they confirmed the battle between these two humongous athletes at Summerslam 2021. The match will probably be the main event and the Roman Reigns VS John Cena bout for the Universal Championship.
