Olympic Silver Medalist Makes Surprise WWE Debut at Crown Jewel

WWE returned to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, and so did Mansoor. Mansoor returned to his home as he took on Mustafa Ali in Riyadh. But he wasn’t the only hometown hero who appeared at Crown Jewel. Tarek Hamdi, Saudi Arabia’s Olympic silver medalist, made his shocking WWE debut at the end of the match.
A person walk towards the ring as everyone guessed who this could be since he was completely covered up. But as soon as he revealed his face, the crowd got up on their feet to produce perhaps the loudest cheer at the Crown Jewel PPV when they realized he was none other than Tarek Hamdi.
Tarek Hamdi is an athlete who won the Olympic silver medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020 in Men’s Karate Kumite +75kg. This was Saudi Arabia’s first Olympic silver medal since 2000.

He knocked Mustafa Ali out with a kick to his head before helping Mansoor to get back to his feet. What a scene it was. Two of Saudi Arabia’s stars standing tall in the ring at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh.

Mansoor emerged victorious over Mustafa Ali at the Crown Jewel PPV
Unknown to many, Mustafa Ali was the first person to hand Mansoor his first pinfall loss. But the two formed a tag team after that.
But a few weeks ago on Raw, Mustafa Ali turned on Mansoor after their loss to Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander of The Hurt Business. Ali even attacked Mansoor backstage, taking out all his frustrations on him.

This led to a match between the two at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV. Mansoor looked like a man on a mission and started the match brightly. He had even hit Ali with a standing moonsault in the early stages of the match.
But Ali took control of the match after putting Mansoor into a Camel Clutch and then followed it up with a Tornado DDT. Ali then called Mansoor a loser, which fired up Mansoor. Mansoor then made his revival with a Spinebuster and followed it up with a thunderous clothesline.

However, Ali looked likely to pick up the win after he put Mansoor in the Koji Clutch. But Mansoor got out of it and hit Ali with the Swinging Neckbreaker to pick up the victory.
