WWE has been trying to get his services, and we spotted the Olympic Gold medalist at SummerSlam. His presence at WWE shows proves that WWE might be the closest to signing him. The 21-year-old has shown some interest by posting pictures with the top management at WWE.
Recently, Gable took to social media and coined himself the “Modern-day Kurt Angle”. This is a tease that certainly has the wrestling community talking. Kurt Angle is one of the all-time greats to ever have stepped into the ring. Angle’s career spanned from a successful stint in WWE to a memorable stint in TNA too. A Hall of Famer could be some big shoes to fill for Gable.

What could be the potential plans for Gable Steveson?

Gable Steveson can be a significant addition to the WWE roster. Gable is an Olympic Gold medalist, making him the nation’s hero. With such support from the fans all over the country, it would be easier to turn him into a superstar than most upstarts. Gable also derives credibility from his wrestling background.
WWE over the years has shown how they can use legit fighters like Brock or Riddle to add to their characters dominance. Bobby Lashley had some intriguing comments to add to the rumours of Gable coming to WWE. The WWE champion noted Gable would fit well with the Hurt Business.
“If he does come to WWE, the smartest way for him to do is give me a call and maybe we can get him into The Hurt Business and help his career,” Lashley added. He also made a comment on if that isn’t the case, Gable might have to struggle to get atop the card. We can take this as a credible statement, given the success Hurt Business has bought to its members. It would be interesting to note if Gable joins the WWE. A Kurt angle revert might just add spice to the broth here.
