Former WWE Champion praises the Maverick Logan Paul
Former World Champion and WWE legend Kurt Angle was invited to the True Geordie Podcast. In the episode, Kurt Angle discussed his addiction issues, the death of Benoit, and the future of YouTube star Logan Paul.

While praising Logan Paul, Kurt Angle said, “I’m literally impressed by his skills and I’m really happy for him. He just won the US title. I think that’s a great accomplishment for only wrestling your eighth match.” Logan Paul has shown great athleticism during many moments including Royal Rumble and his match against Ricochet.
Kurt Angle praised Logan Paul for winning the US title within eight matches of his WWE career, as the Maverick is a part-timer. When Kurt Angle debuted in 1999, he won the Intercontinental Championship after defeating Chris Jericho at No Way Out in 2000.
The Olympic Gold Medalist compared Logan Paul’s rise to the early days of his and Brock Lesnar. He further said, “But you know, he’s on that level with me and Brock. I mean he really is and I think if he continues on and he has more experience because he’s not quite experienced enough yet. I think if he gets more experience, he’s going to be really, really good and I think he’ll end up being a World Champion.”
Impressed by Logan Paul’s dedication and performance, Angle believes Paul can become a World Champion if he gains more experience. But will WWE ever pull the trigger on the social media star?

Will Logan Paul ever become WWE Champion?
WWE creative Head Triple H is impressed by Logan Paul’s performance. Hence, he has received the push by becoming the US title but he may not feature in the world title picture, at least not in the current scenario.
As of now, WWE does not seem interested in dethroning Roman Reigns while Seth Rollins continues to be the work-horse World Champion. Given WWE’s intent with the World title, it seems a distant possibility for WWE to hand over the World title to another part-timer.
