‘One of Johnny’s Students’: AEW Champion Sends Message to Johnny Gargano After War Games Loss

WWE NXT Triple Crown Champion Johnny Gargano faced defeat in his last match in NXT WarGames. The NXT fans got an emotional message from Johnny Gargano in the end.
NXT WarGames pay-per-view had ended with a new era ruling the NXT roster. NXT witnessed the last match of the former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano in the WarGames match. He sided with Team Black & Gold against Team 2.0. Before the match, Gargano also posted a video with his former tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa.
Johnny Gargano’s contract was supposed to be expired a week before. However, he extended his contract with a one-week extension for the NXT WarGames pay-per-view.

Recently, the AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker posted an emotional message mentioning Gargano. She thanked him for giving his efforts to teach her wrestling during her wrestling days. Dr. Britt Baker started her wrestling journey under Gargano’s guidance, and she was thankful for it.
Johnny Wrestling made a significant influence on WWE fans. He gave the best matches during his wrestling career on the NXT roster. Gargano debuted in 2015 and climbed the ladder to become one of the best in the wrestling business. His rivalry with Tommaso Ciampa is one of the best of all times in WWE NXT history.

Team Black & Gold faced Team 2.0 in WarGames. All superstars gave their best to win the match. The cruiserweight Pete Dunne showed his athleticism to keep his team’s momentum. Although Team Black and Gold gave their best to stand till the last, they failed to win the match.
