One of Hollywood’s megastars, Dwayne Johnson, has reached the spot where he is, with extreme hard work. After years of struggles, hard work, and determination, Johnson was able to reach the top spot. Something which he desired and wanted.

After a failed football career, Dwayne Johnson chose a different career path for himself. He fixated his vision on pro wrestling and soon made a career for himself in that. Posing an impressive physique, Johnson also became well known for his physique and structure.

Over the years, he has established himself as one of the biggest stars in the industry, and is also a major influential figure.

However, he had to face a lot of struggles before becoming a vital part of this hustle. Before becoming a major star in Hollywood, Johnson once played a stint in a SNL sketch. As Young Rock’s third season approaches, Dwayne Johnson revealed his transition of joining Hollywood from WWE.

In an exclusive interview with E!News, he revealed the story. Johnson stated that Lorne Michaels had approached him for hosting Saturday Night Live!. He said, “one of the easiest yeses that I’ve ever said in my life.”

However, his approval came with one condition. Johnson stated, “I said, ‘I would love if we could take a crack at not doing any skits where I’m a wrestler. I would like to play as many characters as possible that aren’t wrestlers because I am a wrestler, and I play a wrestler every week.” He hosted the comedy sketch in March 2000, and soon after Hollywood came knocking.

SNL aka Saturday Night Live! is one of the most watched shows, and is extremely humorous. And, fortunately, Dwayne Johnson was able to kick-start his Hollywood career because of his part in the SNL.

His big Hollywood break came when he was a main-eventer in WWE, and was involved in some high-profile feuds and rivalries.

However, he prioritized Hollywood and made the change. During the same interview, he mentioned his experience while working at SNL. He said, ” a great week of creative and storytelling and creating these skits and putting these skits together and I think it worked out really well. I had an amazing time.”

He further recollected how it helped him in his transition into Hollywood. The Rock said, “And it was after that that we got a few big calls from some Hollywood studios saying, ‘Is The Rock interested in breaking into Hollywood and making movies?’ And that started the first step of many.”

Soon after, several Hollywood calls came his way, and since then there has been no looking back.
