Hulk Hogan is very charismatic and has an immense fan following in the WWE universe. The former longest-reigning WCW World Heavyweight Champion really likes to engage with the new generation of stars, and so do they. The Hulkster shared a hearty moment with one such WWE diva after her return to Monday Night RAW.

Hogan was seen engaging in banter with WWE diva Paige during an interview for ‘Between The Ropes’. Paige’s return to Monday Night Raw sure took fans by surprise, but the highlight of her return was this interview. The two seemed to be a fun and well-synchronized pair with great chemistry; something fans love to witness.

The chemistry between Paige and Hulk Hogan

Those who followed Paige’s career were aware of the turmoil that had surrounded her life and the difficulties. Her appearance was so much more than her re-debut; it was also a kind of new beginning for the female wrestler and a touching experience for her supporters. Hogan, too, did not hold back from tweeting about this.

“She didn’t say anything stupid, did she?” remarked Hogan right after he interrupted Paige’s interview. “Because that’s my job,” he added.

Paige smiled and said, “oh, come on, he needed like a five-minute break from me just now.”

The interviewer could not hold back from noticing their exciting and fun chemistry. “You guys are quite the duo. I’ve seen you guys, you know, here doing some media and everything. And you seem to work well together.”

Hogan scoffed and replied, “Yeah, she’s got a great personality. Anyway, just kidding, no she’s fun, she’s awesome this is what we’re looking for, the youth, the energy she does this in a ring, she does this when she works with kids.” 

The Hulkster further added that “if we had to pick a diva or a superstar, we’re looking for somebody that loves the business and has this type of energy.” 

Paige retired soon after this interview

Paige suffered neck surgery in 2016 and was sidelined for a year and a half until making a comeback in December 2017 as the head of the Absolution stable alongside newly drafted NXT wrestlers, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

The day after WrestleMania 34 in April 2018, Paige announced her in-ring retirement on RAW. But there is speculation that the diva might return by the coming year.
