Pat McAfee Details the Heated Confrontation with Triple H at WWE NXT

Pat McAfee appeared on WWE After The Bell hosted by Corey Graves. McAfee answered a series of interesting questions. However, one of the most intriguing answers he gave included a rather well-known WWE Superstar.

He was asked about his preferred opponent if McAfee had one more chance to step inside the ring. According to Pat McAfee, he would like to battle Triple H if he steps inside the ring again.

“You know. Triple H pushed me pretty hard at that NXT arena, didn’t he? He did, didn’t he? That first push was like, ‘Okay. He’s trying to back me up.’ The second push was like, ‘Excuse me pal.’ We’ve had conversations since then, obviously, to handle the business of the match [against Cole], but I’m thinking deep down inside there whenever he was pushing me, there must have been a thought of, ‘If this guy falls down on his a**, I’m completely okay with it.’ I don’t know how to feel about that. I don’t know how to feel about that.”

Reason why Triple H shoved Pat McAfee out of the building

Over here, McAfee is referring to the time when Pat McAfee’s rivalry with Adam Cole reached its peak. On a recent WWE NXT episode, McAfee passed snide remarks about Adam Cole.

Hence, Adam Cole decided to confront McAfee. During the confrontation, there was a point when McAfee punted Cole. As a result of this, Triple H shoved him several times and tossed him out of the building.

Soon after this, Triple H challenged Pat McAfee to get in the ring with Adam Cole at NXT Takeover: XXX. Even though McAfee did not have any prior wrestling experience, he still accepted the challenge.

McAfee suffered a defeat at the hands of Adam Cole, but he impressed one and all with his terrific skills. Obviously, Triple H had nothing but high praise for both of them.
