However, the highlight of the night was a man with a black hoodie and track pants walking up to the ring in a reflective mask that covered his face.

At first, fans thought that it was a Retribution member coming in hot. However, this was not the case. The masked man later took off his cover, and it was none other than Pat McAfee!

The former NFL star has made his official return to WWE, two months after his first feud against Adam Cole. He will be competing now, and it looks like he is teaming up with the new Tag Team Champions.

Pat McAfee fits in the heel role perfectly

McAfee had a great time in his first feud. He exceeded all expectations and delivered a great performance in the build-up to the showdown. Although he did not win the feud, it was a brilliant heel run that WWE undoubtedly wants to revisit.

Adam Cole will not be happy with his former rival making a return. This time, McAfee knows his way around and will surely want revenge. He also has the guard of the Tag Team Champions.

Pat McAfee is a great heel character and can do exceedingly well in the role. We will have to wait and see if he has a new bone to pick or if his feud with Adam Cole is not done yet.
