WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns is unstoppable on the SmackDown roster today. From one of the most despised characters, Reigns (with the help of Paul Heyman) has re-established himself as one of the most popular wrestlers.

The Undertaker recently heaped praise upon the Heyman-Reigns pairing. In the past, ‘The Deadman‘ has worked extensively with both men.

A good deal of WWE fans may not know that Paul Heyman had a huge role in Calaway’s WWE hiring. They had been associated since their WCW days. Since then, Heyman has played a pivotal role in building and re-establishing many careers, including Steve Austin, Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Cesaro and, CM Punk.

“Obviously, Paul Heyman is the perfect mouthpiece,” Undertaker told Sports Illustrated about Heyman’s contributions. “He’s there whenever it’s needed, and he adds so much. They work so well together.”

Heyman has been doing most of the talking in the ring, and handling various businesses of ‘The Tribal Chief.’ This even adds more to the mysterious yet despicable gimmick of Reigns.

The Undertaker would have loved to work with the heel Roman Reigns

‘The Deadman’ also revealed he spoke to Reigns and Jey Uso at Survivor Series 2020. Undertaker praised both men for their role in the new feud and how they have carried it out.

Apart from Brock Lesnar, Roman is the only person to beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Thanks to Reigns the WrestleMania streak stands at 25-2. The heel Reigns compelled Undertaker to watch out for more of ‘The Tribal Chief’.

In conclusion, Undertaker also revealed he would love to face the new Reigns in the ring. “I wish I had the gas in the tank to work a program with him now. It would definitely be something special.”
