Roman Reigns and The Usos had a family celebration on SmackDown: August 27th, 2021. When The Bloodline came out to the ring, everyone erupted in boos.

Therefore, instead of addressing the crowd himself, he made Paul Heyman talk to the WWE Universe. He made the crowd acknowledge Roman Reigns and The Usos.

The Tribal Chief stood with a stern expression as Paul Heyman spoke about the brutal beating John Cena received at SummerSlam 2021. Unfortunately, the celebration was about to be interrupted.

Out came Finn Balor to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship title.

“Hey Roman, you know that I screwed out of our match at SummerSlam by John Cena but don’t worry I’ll deal with him I die time. For now, Edge has spoken about the championship and Brock Lesnar is back. I was gonna come out here and challenge you to a match at Extreme Rules but I’m not waiting in line. I’m challenging you to a match for the championship next week on SmackDown.”

He threw the mic at Reigns, and immediately attacked him. However, Jimmy and Jey Uso cornered Balor and stomped on him. By this time, Reigns left the ring while The Street Profits came out to help Balor against The Usos.

Reigns walked away while Balor tried to force his hand by brutally attacking The Usos with The Street Profits’ help. However, it did not help and The Tribal Chief left the arena.

Who will Roman Reigns face next?

Currently, there are four Superstars who can challenge Reigns for the title – Seth Rollins, Edge, Brock Lesnar, and Finn Balor. If all of them try to pursue it at the same time, the only way to decide the contender would be a Fatal 4-Way match.
