Paul Heyman Reveals Why Brock Lesnar Returned to WWE Instead of UFC

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are ready to fight it out again at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. The Beast Incarnate returned at WWE SummerSlam after being out of action since 2020.
Brock has not only appeared in WWE, but has also made his presence felt in UFC. His last UFC appearance was in 2018. However, there were reports in 2020 where Dana White had claimed he could make a mega-fight between Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones if both the fighters wanted it. In the end, Lesnar picked WWE over UFC.
It was reported back in 2020 that Lesnar was no longer under contract with WWE and had left the company. But much to the delight of the fans, Brock is back again.

Paul Heyman, who was Brock Lesnar’s advocate previously, recently spoke to Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Rick Ucchino in an interview. Here, he claimed to know the reason behind Brock Lesnar’s decision to pick WWE over UFC.
Heyman claimed Roman Reigns is the single biggest star in sports and sports entertainment, and the entire locker room is jealous of him. He also revealed why Lesnar came back to WWE.
He said, “Brock Lesnar, up in Canada, in Saskatchewan. In the wilderness, eating what he kills. Feeding his family with his prey, comes back to WWE. Why? Why didn’t he go to UFC? Why did he come back to WWE? Why did he come back to SmackDown? Because he was specifically looking for Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns is the single biggest star in sports and sports entertainment. And that’s what I noticed now about the locker room, is that everyone is jealous and envious of Roman Reigns.”

Paul Heyman has recently showered Brock Lesnar with heavy praise on his Instagram post. Heyman posted a photo that had a question on it. The question was–Who’s side is Paul Heyman on: Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns?

Even though Heyman did not answer the question, he has done his work in selling the WWE Universal title fight at Crown Jewel. In his caption, he only described Reigns as the Universal Champion. But, for Lesnar, he showered him with praise by declaring him as the Conqueror, the Beast, and the most dominant athlete in the history of WWE and UFC.
