The year 2023 has certainly been the biggest in the wrestling career of Rhea Ripley. Not only did she become the world champion, but she has also been dominating all of her adversaries throughout her dominant run. The Crown Jewel event, though, might have been the toughest challenge for her since she was put in a fatal five-way match to defend her title.

At present, the 27-year-old has a tough opponent in the form of Zoey Stark for the Survivor Series. Stark won the battle royale on the November 6 broadcast of RAW to earn the title shot. However, defeating Ripley in Chicago would still be an uphill climb for Stark. It is likely Ripley will retain her title and continue her reign. Why would WWE book a routine win for The Judgment Day member, let’s have a look.

Zoey Stark isn’t ready to go over Rhea Ripley

Stark is trying to make her name in the Women’s division and is up against an established dominant force in Ripley. Ripley experienced the same at WrestleMania 36 when she first encountered Charlotte Flair. Having so much experience, Flair opted for NXT Champion Rhea Ripley and overcame her at WrestleMania 36.

An additional example might be drawn from the recent Crown Jewel event, in which Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight in Riyadh. That was, after all, LA Knight’s first significant title attempt. So, WWE could again tell that story with Stark falling short despite a valiant effort. This will indicate that Stark may not be ready yet but WWE may revisit the feud down the line. Stark has gained some momentum over the last few months, teaming with Trish Stratus and wrestling against Becky Lynch, but at Survivor Series it is likely to come to a halt against a marauding Ripley.

Ripley likely to hold the title till the Elimination Chamber PLE in her home country

After 2018, the WWE is scheduling its first PLE in Australia on February 24, 2024. It was revealed on September 21, as TKO made the much-anticipated announcement in collaboration with the Western Australian Government. Moreover, Australian, Ripley may see it as a continuation of her reign as champion. Given their Australian fan base, WWE has made a very important decision.  Thus, Ripley’s entrance as a world champion inside the Optus Stadium would indeed be a crucial part of WWE’s plan.

Ripley herself is an Australian, and the WWE could set up a win for her against Stark, allowing her to continue holding her title until The Elimination Chamber.

The decision could surely give what the fans in Perth would ask for, which is to see the home champion enter the colossal stadium. Even Mami would like to prove her dominance in front of her home crowd.

When she learned of the announcement, she expressed her thoughts with utter excitement. She said, “I’m beyond proud to represent Australia every single time I step inside a WWE ring, and to bring a premium live event to Perth is a dream come true. Get ready, Australia, because Mami is coming home.” This is quite a major reason that will force WWE to continue Ripley’s title reign at least until February, and she could win against Stark because of that.

Rhea Ripley is a perfect heel champion for WrestleMania

When it comes to the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania, WWE likes to make new stars and offer the biggest matches. WrestleMania usually sees a dominant champion face their biggest challenger. That could be the case for Ripley and a new WWE signing.

There’s a good probability that she will win the match at Survivor Series and go into WrestleMania as the Women’s World Champion. It is even possible that she could main event WrestleMania on one of the nights and even retain her title to enhance her supremacy as a champion. Same as what happened with Reigns. And in terms of the star who will take on her, Jade Cargill might be the name that is selected to eradicate ‘The Eradicator.’

Her candidacy is strengthened even further by her previous supremacy as the longest-standing AEW TBS champion. Both Ripley and Cargill are powerhouses and WWE could keep the belt on Ripley and make her nearly unbeatable till WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, where the former AEW star will step up to take her crown.
